Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing CRPUD's mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers. This is a supervisory position that provides project management support and assistance for the operation, maintenance, and construction of transmission, substation, and distribution system improvement projects; develops, maintains, upgrades, and operates a secure SCADA system; and develops and maintains a reliability-based predictive and preventative maintenance program for transmission, substation, and distribution equipment, including procedures and maintenance schedules.

• Develops and maintains a reliability-based predictive and preventative maintenance program for transmission, substation, and distribution equipment, including procedures and maintenance schedules.

Required For System Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or five years' experience with demonstrated advanced Engineering knowledge in the electric utility field; or any combination of education, training, and on-the-job experience that provides an equivalent level or knowledge, skills, and training required to perform the job duties of this position effectively.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD and the ability to operate various engineering software applications, including distribution analysis software, fuse coordination software, and work order system.
• Valid driver's license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of responsibilities associated with driving on behalf of CRPUD.

Preferred For System Engineer

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering with five years' experience in the electric utility field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon.

Required For Senior System Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power and 10 years' experience with demonstrated advanced Engineering knowledge in the electric utility field; or any combination of education, training, and on-the-job experience that provides an equivalent level of knowledge, skills, and training required to perform the job duties of this position effectively.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon.
• Proficient in protection settings for SEL relays;
  Milsoft analysis; substation design, construction, and testing;
  Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; and the ability to operate various engineering software applications, including distribution analysis software, fuse coordination software, and work order system.
• Valid driver's license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of the responsibilities associated with driving on behalf of CRPUD.
