Mechanical Engineer

Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday
Overtime may be required.

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The company’s state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking high performance team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude.

• Responsible for engineering duties including research, development, design, manufacturing, and the testing of parts and organization components.
• Participate in and influence operations to develop economical manufacturing solutions.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Meet agreed upon Company and Value Stream goals on time.
• Assist Shop team members when necessary, regarding design or manufacturing.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Proficient use of 3D modeling software, with a preference in Inventor experience.
• Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
