Position: Power Plant Mechanical Planner (TC-J)

Duties

Help

  • Reviews drawings, and from knowledge of shop operations and trade practices, determines mechanical materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the work specified.
  • Initiates procurement of mechanical materials by preparation of requisitions for material from the supply department or to be procured outside the project as the need occurs.
  • Works with shop supervisors and other planners in coordinating work and schedules among the several work areas.
  • Participates in job hazard analyses, requests and holds safe clearances, attends and participates in regularly scheduled safety meetings, and maintains and supports a safe working environment.
