Customer Service Rep
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Regular and consistent attendance
- Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
- General cleaning duties
- Compliance with our company dress code
- Operating POS system and maintaining accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons
- Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX)
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
- Responding to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy
- Operating POS system and maintaining accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed coupons as well as concession stock inventory
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- Operating, preparing, and cleaning all concession related equipment
- Upselling/suggestive selling
- Co‑compliance with all local, state and federal food safety laws
- Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
- Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
- When selling or serving alcohol, must meet legal age and local regulations
- Reading and understanding training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination
- Tearing tickets, collecting and depositing appropriate stub, and directing patrons to their auditoriums
- Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
- Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats when necessary
- Enforcement of the MPAA rating system
- Conducting in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality and to help maintain a safe environment
- Reporting problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management
- Performing in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed
- Cleaning auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas outside the auditorium
- Monitoring vending equipment operation
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned

Education and ExperienceCompletion of cast certification program as a cast member and/or box office cashier or progress toward completion is required.
Language AbilityPossess good public speaking, listening effectively, and responding clearly and directly.
Math AbilityPerform calculations with speed and accuracy, identify and correct errors.
Reasoning AbilityIdentify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence, taking action beyond what is called for, and performing under pressure or opposition.
Personal SkillsExcellent communication skills with customers, co‑workers and management. Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve objectives.
Physical DemandsFrequent standing, walking, sitting; use of hands to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; talking and hearing. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. May lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
