Job DutiesUnder the guidance and direction of the Count Team Supervisor, the Count Team Member is responsible for the timely removal of full bill validator canisters from slot machines and the accurate and timely counting, balancing, and recording of all incoming cash, chips or other items of cash value from both properties (Indian Head Casino and the Plateau Travel Plaza) belonging to the Warm Springs Casino Enterprises (WSCE).
Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, mission and objectives of WSCE and established policies, procedures and controls.
Safeguards casino assets at all times. Responsible for removing currency from the slot machines, bill validators, and drop compartments, ensuring the accuracy of the count and the transfer of funds to the Cage (IHC) or to the Travel Plaza Vault. Performs the scheduled casino slot drop and count all gaming revenue for both properties. Assists internal and external auditors in completing their audits efficiently.
Ensures that all reports and documentation are completed correctly and timely and are submitted according to established standards, requirements, and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all information. Maintains knowledge and skill levels through continued education and training. Adheres to all established safety practices and standards. Ensures that work area is clean and orderly at all times. Keeps area free of non-approved extraneous items.
Ensures compliance with IGRA, Tribal-State Compact, Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Tribal Gaming Regulations, FinCEN requirements and Warm Springs Gaming Enterprise Internal Controls. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior cash handling experience, preferably in the casino or banking industry.
Certification(s) and/or Licenses RequiredMust maintain a valid Oregon driver's license. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must submit to and pass a drug/alcohol screening test. Must submit to and pass an Oregon State background investigation.
