About the Role
The Person al Banker is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience by adhering to Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring the client to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities, provide excellent client service by acknowledging inquiries promptly, and engage clients and prospects in client and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs.
They make recommendations and follow through on commitments, maintain direct contact with clients, and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. They open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients, act as a resource to the Client Service Specialists, contribute to the team environment, and fill in on teller functions when needed.
They support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners, stay current on products and procedures, resolve client issues, build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities, demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations, complete required training, maintain knowledge of regulations, and may coach, mentor, or train others.
You
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of Teller or other banking experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services.
- Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
- Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
- Proficient in expanding client relationships with emphasis on creating new and expanding existing ones.
- Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred.
The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process.
