Member Service Representative (MSR)

The Member Service Representative provides our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper through direct work with members and potential members. This role involves direct interaction with members to identify needs, provide financial solutions, and promote products and services that enhance their financial well-being.

• Contribute to the fulfillment of Sage Credit Union's mission.
• Deepen member relationships by maintaining current knowledge of all products and services and explaining how they benefit members.
• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, loan payments, cash advances, coin processing, card maintenance, and gift/travel card sales.
• Achieve or exceed established sales goals through building member relationships and referring appropriate products and services.
• Take ownership of personal development by participating in monthly coaching and continuing education to qualify for MSR 2.
• Assist with branch opening and closing.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus).
• 1–2 years of financial services or related experience preferred.
• Customer service and/or retail experience strongly preferred.

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the position and credit union.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Scheduling flexibility required.

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach below, at, and over shoulder level required.
• Sitting – 80%; standing and walking – 20%.
• Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.
• A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required; fostering relationships with external entities may be necessary.

The good‑faith hourly salary range for this position is $17/hr – $27/hr this range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, and the finalized job description, and may vary above or below the stated amounts as permitted by applicable law.
