Located off the beautiful Oregon Coast, Adventist Health Tillamook has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1950. It comprises a 25‑bed critical‑access medical center, rural health and urgent‑care medical offices, home‑care services, and a wide array of services throughout Tillamook County and the surrounding areas.
Job SummaryProvides overall supervision of nursing for patient‑care units. Maintains direct accountability for financial, operational, and mission performance of assigned services/departments. Works collaboratively with all areas to coordinate services that support the strategic goals and mission of the hospital. Establishes and achieves appropriate patient‑care standards, supervises and directs personnel using professional discretion and independent judgment.
Job Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and related experience –
Required - Master’s Degree –
Preferred - Seven years of related experience –
Preferred - Five years of leadership experience –
Preferred - Four years of acute‑care nursing experience in a hospital setting –
Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice –
Required - National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration –
Preferred - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor –

- Creates and drives a culture of superior quality and patient safety while maintaining regulatory compliance at the highest standards.
- Assesses unit business strategies and develops new programs and services in response to market demands; ensures financial viability through revenue enhancement and cost management.
- Supervises the quality and effectiveness of patient care delivered by assigned employees, evaluating overall patient care to ensure consistency with hospital strategies and objectives.
- Establishes staffing ratios within allotted nursing hours, manages recruitment, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Creates engaging workplaces and program strategies that meet future healthcare needs, promoting safety and infection control practices.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
