Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in a hospital operating room setting. The CST will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures. This role requires strong sterile technique, attention to detail, and the ability to support a variety of surgical specialties in a fast‑paced environment.

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Assemble, organize, and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.
• Perform surgical counts and assist with specimen handling and documentation.
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to promote patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to urgent surgical cases as needed.
• Support operating room efficiency through proper room turnover and equipment management.

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• BLS from AHA required
• Previous Surgical Technologist experience in an operating room setting.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented surgical environment.
• Flexibility to take on‑call assignments as required.

• Experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Experience in General Surgery.
• Experience in Gynecological (GYN) procedures.
• Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties.
• Previous experience in a rural hospital setting.
• Shift is Days 4x10s (7 AM - 5 PM), 40 hrs/week
• Location is Gold Beach, OR 97444
• Pay Range for Locals: $52 - $57 per hour
• Pay Range for Travelers: $2,440 - $2,480 per week
