In the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the community since 1901. We have a 49‑bed hospital, medical offices, home health, a birthing center and many other services in The Dalles and surrounding areas. The Dalles offers picturesque views of the Columbia River, local charm and many great restaurants.
Job Summary:Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross‑sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissues used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures beyond CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.

Work Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology:
Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT):
Required - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT:
Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Required - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment:
Preferred in CA and OR - Venipuncture certification:
Preferred in CA and OR
Facility Specific License/
Certifications:
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT):
Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Required
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
- Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
