Surgical Technician FTE

Surgical Technician at Providence Seaside Hospital is a full-time 1.0 FTE position working weekdays and weekends during day shift.
Sign‑on bonus of $8,000 is eligible for external hires who meet qualifications and conditions for payment.

Location: Providence Seaside Hospital, Seaside, OR, 725 S Wahanna Rd.

Works closely with all members of the surgical team to provide direct patient care and optimize surgical outcomes. Assists the surgeon during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment while maintaining sterility.

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES) and an active certification by NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
• Completion of a training program in the armed forces or the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps with 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
• “Grandfathered” based on work experience in an ASC, hospital, or federal agency between January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2017, with 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.

Pay range: $30.92 – $47.30 per hour (base). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
