Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, as well as proficiency in utilizing advanced imaging systems. The CT Technologist will work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to discuss imaging results and address any concerns.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Assist in training new staff members on CT procedures and equipment usage.
  • Document patient information accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
  • Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, and sonography techniques.
Qualifications
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with a focus on CT preferred.
  • Must be AART registered in X-Ray and CT
  • Proven experience in medical imaging, particularly in CT scanning.
  • Familiarity with MRI, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, and sonography is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
