Job Summary
Seeking a relief Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care at a community health organization. The role involves preparing exam rooms, educating patients, and collaborating with providers to ensure smooth workflow.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update medical records, prepare for patient visits, assist with exams and procedures, collect lab specimens, administer medications, and respond to patient questions.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent training, CPR certification, and certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates have at least one year of CMA experience.
Skills required include medical knowledge, excellent multitasking, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and Epic.
Compensation$27.60 to $40.64 per hour, DOE.
