Operate and monitor hemodialysis machines and ensure safety alarms are enabled;
Assess vascular access patency and perform cannulation; administer heparin as delegated;
Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight; monitor patient response during dialysis;
Document treatment data and maintain Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet; ensure nursing signatures;
Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and assist with CQI activities
