- Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM

Job Summary

Quality Coordinators will be responsible for generating and reporting data-driven insights to measure and improve organizational quality and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Abstracting medical records
  • Reviewing medical records
  • Collecting and analyzing data
  • Creating dashboards
  • Generating quality-focused reports using hospital and third-party data
  • Supporting departmental and organizational strategies, programs, initiatives, and accreditations
  • Identifying actionable opportunities and solutions to improve quality and efficiency outcomes
  • Ensuring standards of care and quality services are provided in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Clinical healthcare experience preferred with at least 2 years in hospital and/or ambulatory settings (e.g., data analytics, performance improvement, clinical)
  • Master’s degree preferred in Business, Public Health, Health Care Management, Nursing, or a related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Records
  • Knowledge of and experience with various data aggregation, analytical, and report writing tools
  • Experience with databases and data analysis
  • Experience collating/normalizing data from disparate systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Experience with performance improvement methodology including Lean Six Sigma; belt-level certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team building, change management, and consensus building skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility to changing environmental situations and encouragement of positive change
  • Compliance with all health system and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and follow through on assignments without reminder
  • Relationship management skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including physicians, administration, and clinical staff
Physical Demands

Must possess good physical health. Standing, sitting, or walking for long periods required. Lifting at least 20 pounds required.
