Phlebotomist

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development. The Phlebotomist position provides vital services to patients and healthcare providers.

Position:
Phlebotomist — Junction City, OR.

Work schedule:

Monday–Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm; overtime and rotating Saturdays may be required. The role includes performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all age groups, data entry, billing, specimen preparation, and exceptional customer service.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic studies
• Enter patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program
• Three (3) months or more experience as a Phlebotomist

• Certification must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking
• Pass a standardized color‑blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week:
  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern or temporary: 401(k) only.
• Employees on 7 on/7 off schedule: all benefits except PTO/FTO.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, providing a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
