Radiology Technologist at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR
The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physician's orders, using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment while considering each patient's unique and age-related needs. They apply clinical knowledge and judgement in positioning, radiation dose calibration, and necessary patient treatment to produce optimal, high-quality images.
All examinations are performed with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator, with ALARA awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Upon hire:
Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License. - New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
Pay Range: $34.49 - $53.55 per hour. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
