While working in this program, you will receive an additional $2.00 per hour secure program differential in addition to your base wage and any other applicable pay differentials.

We are looking for a Residential Care Associate II to join our team at Manzanita Ridge SRTF in Junction City, Oregon. The role involves providing support to residents according to individualized treatment plans with a focus on personal care services, environmental intervention, and limited group social and recreational activities. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, following physician orders, documenting on medical charts and count sheets, assisting clients with self‑administration of medications, transporting clients as needed, and maintaining compliance with documentation productivity standards.
TrainingProgram
With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward mental‑health certifications while attending required, paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision to gain on‑the‑job experience.
Work ScheduleFriday through Monday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Part Time, Swing)
CompensationStarting at $22.50 – $23.88 per hour DOE/Credentials.
Differentials:
- Night Shift (NOC) Differential:
An additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM, provided that at least 2.5 hours of the shift occur within this period. - Secure Program Differential:
An additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible secure program. - Bilingual Differential:
An additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the Language/Bilingual Program.
Manzanita Ridge is a secure, co‑ed, 8‑bed program serving adults living with a mental illness, located within the Junction City Hospital grounds.
What You’ll NeedMust be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate registration through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), which requires 1 of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field).
- Or a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting.
- Or an equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
Will be required to register as a QMHA‑R through MHACBO during the first week of employment.
Driving is an essential function of this position; successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical DemandsThe position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, the role may involve using ladders, squatting/kneeling, and other physical tasks. It also requires completing crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings that involve physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, potentially lifting and transferring clients.

Per OAR 309‑035‑0135, Direct Care staff must be 18 or older at the time of hire.
