Tech – Dietitian

Dietitian Position

This position involves providing medical nutrition therapy and patient dietary care within an outpatient or acute care setting. The Dietitian will assess patient needs, develop nutrition plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional needs through assessments and medical histories.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized nutrition care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment and dietary interventions.
• Ensure all documentation and clinical forms are accurately completed following departmental policies.
• Stay updated on current medical nutrition therapy standards for various patient populations.
• Educate patients and their families on nutrition plans and healthy eating habits.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree satisfying ACEND requirements, or a Master's Degree if credentialed after 01/01/2024.
• Complete a Dietetic Internship or equivalent supervised practice program approved by ACEND.
• Obtain Registered Dietitian credential through the CDR within 6 months of hire.
• Possess current professional licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• Demonstrate experience providing nutrition therapy in acute or outpatient care settings preferred.
• Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent patient care.
