Location: John Day

Speech-Language Pathologist

Provide speech-language therapy to students in a school setting, supporting IEP goals and state guidelines. Manage evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation across multiple district sites during a 36-week contract in John Day, OR. Earn up to $80 per hour with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver school-based speech-language therapy to students in line with IEP goals and state/district guidelines.
  • Conduct speech/language evaluations, interpret results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation including session notes, progress reports, evaluation reports, and Medicaid billing requirements as applicable.
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment by providing services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and other educational settings across district sites.
  • Manage a school-based caseload and ensure all documentation meets district and state requirements.
  • Work in-person across various schools in Grant County, standing, walking, and moving throughout school buildings as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field from an accredited program.
  • Current Oregon SLP Licensure.
  • 0+ years of experience (new graduates encouraged).
