- Clinical Supervisor I Pay Grade B12 ($73,900 - $111,600 annually depending on experience) - Clinical Supervisor II Pay Grade B13 ($81,000 - $123,100 annually depending on experience).

DescriptionThe Clinical Supervisor, under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned mental health and/or addictions clinicians. The Clinical Supervisor plans, assigns, directs and reviews the clinical work of mental health therapists, ensures adherence to relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), monitors quality assurance, and develops and monitor treatment protocols. In addition, the position will carry a caseload and conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans and provide quality clinical care.
SupervisionSupervision Received: Depending upon location, this position is supervised by the Clinical Manager.
Supervision Exercised: This position directly supervises all assigned clinical staff in the mental health and alcohol/drug programs.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and oversight on a daily basis to assigned clinicians. Ensure that care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy.
- Ensure that assigned clinicians are apprised of current evidence-based practices (EBP), implement EBPs, and ensure the agency meets or exceeds standards of good clinical outcomes.
- Ensure that all paperwork by the clinical staff is completed in a professional and timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
- Ensure that the quality of clinical work is superior and completed in a professional manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
- Provide after-hours emergency services on a 24-hour, rotating basis to adults and children, including telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community. May participate in the back-up on-call supervisory rotation on a 24-hour basis.
- Ensure knowledge and application of CCS personnel policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire and train new staff. Provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. Follow policies for employee discipline and termination as needed and work to resolve conflicts with positive leadership.
- Engage in disciplinary actions in consultation with Clinical Manager, Clinical Director and/or the Executive Director when necessary.
- Report all cases of abuse or neglect to the proper agency, or ensure proper reporting and follow up; complete investigative reports when required, and implement safety plans. Become a Protective Service Investigator when applicable.
- Initiate holds, civil commitment investigations, and coordinate with hospitals, case workers, the state and other individuals/agencies for all civil commitments.
- Provide utilization management for adults and children needing higher levels of care.
- Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies to ensure continuity of service delivery and CCS visibility with community partners.
- Maintain a caseload and provide quality individual, group and family counseling services; ensure paperwork is professional and timely.
- Follow the grievance process for customer complaints and work diligently to resolve complaints.
- Ensure agency compliance with relevant OARs and clinical contractual requirements with GOBHI and other mental health organizations.
