Certified Nurse Midwife | John , OR – Labor & Delivery + Women’s Health

A full-time Certified Nurse Midwife is sought to provide comprehensive, patient-centered women's healthcare in John Day, Oregon.

• Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
• Support women through labor and delivery, including management of complications
• Direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients
• Provide breastfeeding support and newborn care education
• Lead and teach prenatal classes
• Perform routine gynecologic and women's health exams for all ages
• Provide contraception and menopause management
• Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Opportunity to help develop policies and procedures for the Labor & Delivery department

• Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery or related field
• Prior labor & delivery and midwifery experience++
• AMCB certification
• Oregon APRN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Lactation Consultant certification preferred
• Advanced clinical skills, including suturing and emergency care
