Medical Technologist & Lab Technician, Clinical Research
Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled Medical Technologist / MLT to join an acute-care laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing as a well-rounded generalist across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Microscopy.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Process and plate microbiology specimens and perform Gram stains.
- Operate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate test documentation.
- Work across the laboratory bench while maintaining quality, safety, and accuracy standards.
- 2+ years of laboratory experience.
- Recent phlebotomy experience required.
- Well-rounded generalist experience across multiple laboratory areas.
- ASCP certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Must be flexible with either scheduled shift.
- Cerner/Oracle EHR experience preferred.
- Vitek – Microbiology
- Sysmex – Hematology
- Manual Ortho Gel – Blood Bank
