About

Shifaa Healing Hearts Counselling CIC (SHHC) has recently secured funding to deliver Brothers Connect, a new community health and wellbeing programme for men in Westminster. The programme brings together physical health, psychological wellbeing, behaviour change and community connection through our Move

  • Reflect
  • Connect model.

We are currently recruiting a Project Coordinator to help coordinate and deliver the programme.

We particularly welcome applicants with a degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology, Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Development, Mental Health, Social Sciences or a related field. Previous project coordination/project management and workshop facilitation experience are essential.

The role offers practical experience across men's health, health inequalities, psychological wellbeing, behaviour change, community engagement, workshop delivery, partnership working, monitoring and evaluation.

The Project Coordinator will work directly with male participants, including facilitating group discussions, community outreach and engagement around potentially sensitive health and wellbeing topics. Applicants should therefore have the confidence, cultural awareness and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with men from diverse communities.

The successful candidate will also have access to Health Works training and development, including Blood Pressure Monitoring, Health Coaching and Very Brief Advice (VBA) on Smoking, alongside further SHHC development opportunities.
