Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (please note this is a placeholder for internal processing)

What You’ll Do:
Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants in Level III NICUs
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including bedside procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff
Educate families on neonatal care and treatment plans
Attend deliveries when needed and support delivery room activities
Manage patient documentation and contribute to high-value, family-centered care
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of neonatal treatments and evidence-based practices
What You Need:
Required:
Valid Oregon or eligible for OR state license
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification or Physician Assistant (PA) with neonatal fellowship/residency completion
Previous experience working with high-risk neonates (preferred, but not mandatory)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
Experience in Level III NICU settings
Experience attending deliveries and performing neonatal procedures
Excellent communication and patient education skills
About the Assignment:
This assignment is at a reputable hospital in Portland that offers extensive maternal fetal medicine consultation and OB hospitalist support. The NICU handles a high volume of critical neonatal cases, providing an enriching environment for advanced neonatal care practitioners. Providers will work at both Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center, both with Level III NICUs. The smaller, more intensive unit cent features sicker patients, while PPMC emphasizes a broader patient base with less intensive needs.
Support staff and unit-based resources are available to facilitate exceptional patient care.
