Overview
Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Oregon is seeking a part-time Beach Recreation Attendant who delivers exceptional guest service and enjoys creating memorable experiences for our hotel guests. Beach Recreation Team Members work closely with multiple departments to coordinate activities that enhance each guest’s stay.
This role includes providing shuttle service and supporting resort amenities such as:
- Beach bonfires with s’mores
- Saturday ice cream socials
- Sunday hot dog roasts
- Beer and cider tastings
- Daily fresh-baked cookies
Additional responsibilities include grounds-keeping duties for both the Surfsand Resort and the Wayfarer Restaurant.
Schedule & Pay- Up to 30 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday afternoons
- $17.50 per hour

- Oregon Food Handler Card –
required - OLCC Permit –
preferred - Valid driver’s license (required for shuttle service if over 21) –
preferred - Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Positive, friendly, and guest-focused attitude
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability, including potential weekends and holidays
