The Hotel Manapany is now looking for its future Assistant General Manager on a permanent contract.

As an assistant general manager, you will supervise the activities related to the cleanliness of the hotel's rooms and common areas. Your main role will be to control the quality of cleaning of the rooms and common areas and to ensure that cleanliness and comfort standards are met. You will also be responsible for responding to guest needs and reporting any maintenance or repair issues.

1. Housekeeping Operations Management

• Supervise the work of maids, versatile team members, and laundresses.
• Prepare opening reports and dispatch rooms.
• Prepare the evening report.
• Organize cleaning campaigns for team members and maids as part of the hotel's regular maintenance.
• Provide training to interns.
• Make precise returns to the general manager and assistant general manager during the workday and at the end of your shift.
• Assist the general manager and follow the different missions that she may give.
• Help manage the daily schedule.

2. Quality Control

• Check the quality of rooms after cleaning by maids (cleanliness, technical problems, arrangement) within the deadlines set for the service of re-making beds, covering, and deep cleaning.
• Ensure the cleanliness of green spaces and common areas.
• Respect quality standards and B Signature values.

3. Guest Requests

• Respond to guest requests in a professional manner and solve problems proactively (changing the configuration of beds, technical problems, request for ironing board and iron …).
• Follow up on the cleaning of guest laundry in an organized manner (collection in room, deposit in laundry, return of laundry in room).

4. Additional Tasks

• Report forgotten items and hand them over to reception.
• Make inventories of offices and report to the general manager the state of stocks so that she can place orders before stock runs out.
• Participate in the maintenance and tidying up in the office, offices, and laundry.

• Experience of at least 1 year in a similar position, ideally in high-end or luxury hotellery.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate teams while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards in cleanliness and presentation control.
• Field leadership, autonomy, and effective management of operational priorities.
• Ability to communicate in English in an international environment.
• Team spirit, discretion, service sense, and excellent presentation.
