Willamette Pass Resort is seeking an experienced and driven Mountain Manager to lead mountain operations during an exciting period of growth and investment. With many capital improvements underway, this is a unique opportunity to help build a high-performing team and shape the future of skiing and riding at Willamette Pass Resort.
Position Overview:
The Mountain Manager will oversee all on-mountain operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality conditions for guests and staff. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to build and mentor a strong operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily mountain operations, including lifts, grooming, and snow making
Lead, train, and grow a skilled mountain operations team
Play a key role in the implementation and operation of the new snow making system
Ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all departments
Collaborate with resort leadership to improve terrain quality and guest experience

Qualifications
Required Experience:
Lift maintenance experience
Snow making operations experience
Grooming experience
Proven leadership in mountain or resort operations
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in dynamic mountain environments
