Hampton Lumber is seeking a people-focused HR Manager to provide both strategic and hands‑on HR leadership in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle—including recruiting, development, retention, and compliance—while helping maintain a workforce that drives our competitive advantage. The HR Manager serves as a trusted partner to the Leadership Team, providing consistent guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
This position requires a strong presence in the mill, supporting employees and supervisors while fostering a positive, high‑performing workplace culture.

- Serve as a trusted, neutral resource—coach, counselor, and advisor to employees and supervisors.
- Partner with leadership to address performance issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
- Guide and support consistent application of policies, discipline, and performance management practices.
- Coordinate and track employee training and development programs.
- Identify skill gaps and partner with corporate HR to enhance training offerings.
