This position follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will be required when business or operational needs are best supported in person, such as collaboration, training, or work that requires access to onsite resources. Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection and maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity. While working remotely, employees are expected to maintain the same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they would in the office.

What you will do!

This position provides technical and analytical support to the agency's Training and Development program with a focus on recruitment-related training. Responsibilities include assisting in the development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training resources that support hiring managers and staff in conducting equitable, compliant, and effective recruitment processes. Work is performed within established policies, procedures, and frameworks, with guidance from the HR Director, Assistant HR Director, and senior Human Resources staff.

Typical duties include:

  • Assist in developing and updating standardized training materials related to recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Support the design of instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training modules using established instructional design practices.
  • Assist in ensuring training content reflects compliance with state and federal laws, including veterans' preference and equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Draft and revise guidance documents, toolkits, and reference materials aligned with statewide policies and agency procedures.

Application Instructions:

A cover letter and resume are required and are an important part of the application process. Only these materials are considered during the screening process:

  • A cover letter (no more than 2 pages), highlighting your skills and experience, and demonstrating how your qualifications align with the required and desired qualifications for this role.
  • A current resume detailing your relevant experience and education as it will be used in place of the detailed Workday work history for this agency-specific recruitment.

Minimum Qualifications (required):

  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Training and Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or related field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge (Desired Attributes):
