Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to uphold our commitment to excellence.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing the recruitment, new hire orientation and staffing functions within our skilled nursing facility. This role involves ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support for HR-related activities. The coordinator will work closely with department heads, employees, and external agencies to maintain a productive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining clinical staffing schedules to ensure sufficient coverage for all shifts, coordinating with department heads to identify staffing needs and fill open positions, implementing strategies to reduce overtime and ensure cost-effective staffing, ensuring vacant positions are filled to meet staffing requirements, approving time off and promoting good attendance, making sure all required employment and labor law posters are displayed within the facility, creating and maintaining required staffing reports to remain in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, arranging new hire training and supporting new employee orientation process, maintaining staff records and tracking required certification, coordinating the recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring, conducting background checks, reference checks, and credential verification, facilitating the onboarding process including orientation and training for new hires, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records including personnel files and HR databases, maintaining accurate records of new hires and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, promoting employee engagement and retention through recognition programs, team-building activities, and regular feedback, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements include experience in staffing roles, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility, strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
