We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help keep our hiring process organized and moving. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week on Tuesday through Thursday. You’ll schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, keep our recruiting systems up to date, and make sure candidates have a great experience throughout the process.
This is a good fit for someone who’s organized, responsive, and comfortable figuring things out in a fast-moving startup. You’ll work closely with recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers, and interviewers, and have a real opportunity to help improve how we recruit as MatX grows.
What You’ll Do Here- Own interview scheduling and coordination across candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams
- Coordinate virtual and onsite interview loops across multiple teams, interviewers, and time zones
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely, clear, and thoughtful communication
- Ensure a world class, professional, and highly responsive journey for every candidate
- Manage last minute scheduling changes, interviewer conflicts, cancellations, and reschedules while keeping the interview process moving
- Track outstanding interview feedback and follow up with interview teams to keep hiring decisions moving
- Support recruiting events, projects, and other talent initiatives as needed
- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a similar role, ideally in a startup or high growth environment
- Passionate about candidate experience and committed to providing every candidate with a thoughtful, responsive, and professional experience
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple candidates and interview processes simultaneously
- Comfortable handling uncertainty, changing priorities, and last minute scheduling challenges
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership without waiting for step by step direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with candidates, recruiters, engineers, hiring managers, and senior leadership
- Strong working knowledge of Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential candidate information with discretion
- This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week on Tuesday through Thursday
- Experience coordinating technical or engineering interviews
- Experience supporting recruiting teams at an early stage or rapidly growing company
- Experience coordinating onsite interview loops and candidate travel
- Experience supporting hardware, AI, semiconductor, or deep tech recruiting
- Experience improving recruiting processes, systems, templates, or workflows
- Strong interest in AI technologies and trends, with a desire to continue learning in this domain
The US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training. Career length is only a guideline for compensation.
$160,000 - $200,000 + equity
