About Organisation:
The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) is a multi-stakeholder global partnership involving national governments, UN agencies & programmes, multilateral development banks & financing mechanisms, the private sector, and academic & research institutions. It aims to address the challenges of building resilience into infrastructure systems and infrastructural development. The vision, mission, goal, and objectives of CDRI are aligned with the post-2015 development agendas.
The Coalition also aims to enhance the resilience of global infrastructure systems in an interconnected world, contributing to resilient economies and resilient populations through cross-sector commitments at all levels towards adaptation and resilience with measurable outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in planning, architecture, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, or related fields with at least 70% marks/7 CGPA/equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- OR Master’s Degree in disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, architecture, or related fields with at least 70% marks/7 CGPA/equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- OR Post-doctoral Degree in disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, or related fields with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Under the supervision of mentors, Young Professionals (YPs) will contribute high-quality inputs to CDRI’s projects and programmes related to disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, and policy research.
YPs will support the Coalition’s research and knowledge management activities, including landscape analysis, scoping studies, and dissemination of insights through knowledge products such as case studies, learning notes, technical notes, and research publications. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as per CDRI’s requirements.
Locations and Compensation:Salary: INR 60,000 per month + 10% Transportation allowance + 10% Housing allowance. There may be up to a 10% salary increment in subsequent years.
Age Limit:30 years as of 1 January 2022.
