Sr. HR Manager @ Central Bethany | SHRM-CP

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the corporate HR team. Providing quality service and support to employees and leaders, this individual carries out recruiting, onboarding and other HR-related responsibilities for our various properties to ensure candidates are effectively acquired, onboarded and meet all necessary new hire and ongoing requirements.
This is primarily an on-site position for one - two months through training period and then may transition to 1 day from home per week.

Overall Responsibilities
  • Completes daily tasks related to talent acquisition and onboarding to ensure the efficient and successful transition of new staff members.
  • Provides consistently friendly and prompt service to staff and managers.
  • Makes updates related to employee data in various systems and tracks and audits various employment information.
  • Accurately and efficiently helps the HR team with various projects and initiatives resulting in increased organization, employee retention and positive work culture.
  • Continually communicates with managers to keep job postings accurate while properly communicating status.
  • Schedule or perform phone screens, review resumes, and schedule in-person or virtual interviews.
  • Performs or obtains necessary information for background, drug screening and E-Verify process.
  • Ensures employee’s new hire data is entered into HRIS and track necessary information, such as training completion, anniversary dates, and benefits eligibility.
  • Ensure new hire packets are properly assembled and completed by new staff.
  • Scan documents to employee’s files and maintain through employment.
  • Schedule or conduct new hire and continuing trainings and orientations.
  • Answer benefits and policy questions during new hire process
  • Track sign-on and referral bonuses.
Qualifications

Two years of prior HR-related work experience preferred.
