Job DescriptionPlant Technician – Packing and Process
Cincinnati - Plant
Minimum Requirements- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Citizen or Work Visa
- Minimum age of 18
- Two years of technical work experience
OR
- One year of continued technical education/training beyond high school (Mechanical, Shop, Electrical, Computer, Design, Architect, etc.)
OR
- Completed four-year college degree.
- Entry level $22.02-$23.60/hour with opportunity to earn $37.68/hour plus shift premium.

- Operate high-speed making, packing, and other production-related equipment
- Operate as a refinery or deodorizer technician in the process department
- Operate essential material handling equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, hand trucks)
- Perform physical activities necessary for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, including:
- Climbing stairs and ladders, standing on and moving around on platforms, equipment, and floors
- Twisting or bending at the knees and back
- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds using proper techniques
- Standing and walking at least 70% of the time
- Using basic hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders)
- Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Developing and analyzing data using basic math and statistics
- Operating a computer for data entry and communication
- Prioritizing safety by:
- Using personal protective equipment
- Following safe practices
- Understanding alarms and signals for safety
- Participating in safety audits
- Maintaining a clean work area and following Good Manufacturing Practices
- Keeping accurate records
- Understanding machine terminology and functions
- Maintaining good attendance (no absences during probation)
- Reading and understanding high school and technical materials
- Working rotating or straight shifts (8 or 12 hours, 5-7 days/week)
- Working effectively in a team, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills
