Position: Manufacturing Technician - Hiring Now
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Engineering with prototype product (and/or production equipment or process) development, and/or assembly & testing.
  • Assist Engineering by processing Task Requests (ETR's) as needed for Product Development work.
  • Responsible for machine refurbishment & testing in support of manufacturing.
  • Ability to safely work with chemicals using prescribed PPE
  • Develop and maintain records and data of engineering studies, test, and drawings, including performing, computation, plot data and preparing graphs.
  • Note deviations in performance not anticipated or indicated in the test procedures.
  • Assist with writing procedures & work instructions for machines and/or processes.
  • Assist with the development of process control plan, PFMEA, flow charts, etc.
  • Assist with training production employees on new machines and/or processes as needed.
  • Comply with quality systems procedures & documentation as required.
  • Performing product, manufacturing or applications and engineering support activities as directed.
  • Conducts tests involving electrical or electro-mechanical parts on assigned projects for prototypes, competitor products.
  • And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associates Degree - in a technical field a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • High Attention to Detail required
  • Good math and communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Must have valid driver's license to travel between facilities
  • Working knowledge of gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and various measuring devices.
