Oregon, IL Pay: $18.50 - $24.15 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Shift: 1st |
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 5AM to 3:30PM (Saturday OT as needed)
About the Role:
Join our production team and play a key role in preparing high-quality parts for painting and shipment. As a Clean and Prep Operative, you will clean, assemble, and prepare parts to meet work order, quality, and safety standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work and supporting the team.

What You’ll Do:
Clean parts using hand and powered tools to remove slag and surface debris
Wash parts using wash booths or approved chemical solvents in preparation for painting
Perform assembly work according to work order specifications and required tolerances
Inspect parts regularly to ensure quality standards are met Package finished parts for shipment per work order requirements
Record accurate labor and production data Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Support other production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of required production, quality, and safety training
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and use cranes or lifting devices for heavier loads
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
