This position is part-time on day shift — Saturday and Sunday from 8am-4pm

Etnyre International is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road maintenance, repair and rehabilitation equipment. We are in search of a part-time Security Guard for our Oregon, IL facility. We are seeking a dependable and alert Security Guard to protect our manufacturing facility, employees, and assets. In this role, you will monitor access points, perform regular patrols, respond to security incidents, and enforce company safety procedures. Because our Security Guards are often the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors, excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

• Follows the security guards rules and regulations manual.
• Monitor and control access to the facility through visitor check-ins.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas of the plant to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security violations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Enforce plant rules, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Completes shipping and receiving procedures on all equipment shipments.
• Collaborate with plant management and local authorities when required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
• Ability to remain alert and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Individual must be able to walk outdoors up to two miles per shift. Must have the ability to climb stairs and be able to change from a sitting to standing position frequently.

All work will be completed in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with company policies, priorities and needs. The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member. Performance will be measured on the function/duties described in the position description, accomplishments during the review period, and the methods/work skills used to achieve the goals.
