Pb03 Constructions Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Carpenter to join our team.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities:

• Study and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Order and select timbers and materials, ensuring accuracy in preparation and layout.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Erect framework, roof framing, sub-flooring, and floorboards, ensuring structural accuracy and trueness.
• Install doors, windows, frames, flooring, and other structural and decorative elements.
• Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding.
• Assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings, ready for installation.
• Construct concrete formwork when required.
• Cut and shape wood joints for assembling wooden structures and fittings.
• Conduct renovation and repair work on existing fittings and structures.
• Work with a variety of materials, including wood, plywood, wallboard, plastic laminates, perspex, and metals.
• Ensure all carpentry work complies with safety and building regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently.

Skills and Qualification:

• AQF Certificate III + 2 years on-the-job training OR AQF Certificate IV in Carpentry or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods. Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster and willingness to adapt to project needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
