Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Boardman, OR that is seeking a Data Center Technician II who will serve as one of many primary resolvers for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. This role will support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members. As a Data Center Technician, you will possess basic to intermediate system administration skills and work autonomously to resolve server issues.
You must understand all aspects of the equipment you support, take direction when given, pay attention to all details, work well with a team, be receptive to feedback, and adjust performance and behavior as required.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with networking and understanding of TCP/IP
- 2+ years of experience with hardware components inside a server/computer
- 2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
- 2+ years of experience with server hardware
- Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required
- Understanding of storage devices
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
