Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an Install Handoff Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team. This role will support next‑generation networks across multiple data center locations, helping to automate and scale our network infrastructure.

The position requires working with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive stability and sustainability of the network, assist with capacity management, and provide support and automation for large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks.

• Work closely with Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Report current status via ticketing system, status reports, email and Slack.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Maintain accurate records and document problems and processes to successfully draft and execute changes within data centers.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter‑connectivity issues, including device configuration and low‑level application interaction.
• Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Remediate small‑scale hardware failures related to cabling infrastructure connectivity issues.
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness.
• Carry a cell phone for communication, information, and emergencies.
• Travel up to 50% within the geographic work area; some travel outside may be requested.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Additional experience in supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks.

Pay range: 27.00 – 48.00 USD per hour (USA, OR, Boardman).
