Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 environments.

• SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Teams
• One Drive for Business
• Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD)

Experience designing and implementing SharePoint Online solutions and migrations.

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security architecture and compliance capabilities.

Experience configuring permissions, governance structures, and access controls.

Advanced Power Shell scripting and automation experience.

Experience managing Group Policies and Microsoft 365 administrative controls.

Demonstrated ability to create thorough and accurate technical documentation.

Experience troubleshooting complex Microsoft 365 issues in enterprise environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Deep expertise with Microsoft Purview, including:

Experience with in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to join the Digital Workplace team on a 12-month contract. This role is responsible for the design, administration, security, governance, and optimization of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive, and Microsoft Purview.

This is not a traditional Microsoft 365 Administrator role. The ideal candidate will bring a deep technical understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, security controls, governance frameworks, and backend configuration management. They will serve as a senior technical resource for platform design, migrations, security implementation, automation, and Tier 3 support.

A strong emphasis is placed on technical documentation, operational excellence, and collaboration with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure Microsoft 365 services are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.
