Support MRO and manufacturing operations by sourcing aircraft engine parts, components, repair services, and technical materials. This role is responsible for purchasing, supplier management, expediting, and ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Purchase aircraft engine parts, components, and repair services.
- Issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing, and place purchase orders.
- Track and expedite open orders to prevent shortages.
- Maintain supplier relationships and resolve delivery issues.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Identify supply chain risks and support inventory optimization efforts.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, warranty claims, and PO corrections.
- Ensure compliance with quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Required
- 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or aviation experience.
- Experience with RFQs, purchase orders, supplier management, and inventory planning.
- ERP/MRP system experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience purchasing aircraft engine parts, turbine components, or technical materials.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Aviation, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret part numbers, BOMs, technical specifications, and supplier documentation.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong negotiator and relationship builder.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Thrives in a fast-paced aviation or technical environment.
