Criterion Supply Inc, a California-based distributor of industrial, construction, and safety supplies, is seeking an Operations Analyst to optimize our wholesale operations. In this role, you will analyze sales, inventory, and logistics data to support reliable fulfillment for contractors and industrial clients. You will build reports and dashboards, monitor stock levels and service metrics, and identify process improvements across purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.
Partnering closely with sales, warehouse, and vendor teams, you'll help ensure the right products are available on time, supporting safety-focused, complex projects. This team-oriented role offers growth across logistics, sales support, and operations in a dynamic, customer-driven environment focused on reliability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, and purchasing data to support wholesale operations
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for leadership and sales teams
- Monitor stock levels, fill rates, and backorders to improve service and reduce shortages
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Support demand forecasting and purchasing decisions for key product lines
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and purchasing teams on order accuracy and fulfillment
- Track logistics and delivery performance, highlighting risks and delays
- Maintain data quality in ERP/CRM systems and assist with system enhancements
- Prepare KPIs and performance summaries for internal and client meetings
- Assist with special projects related to supply chain, pricing, and vendor performance
Required Skills
- Data analysis and reporting
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts)
- SQL or database querying
- ERP systems (e.g., Net
- Suite, SAP, or similar)
- BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
