We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Facilities team for two days a week. This position provides hands-on experience in facilities operations and offers the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Maintenance/Custodian II
POSITION GOAL: To maintain district buildings and grounds.
Essential Functions
- Perform general building maintenance as required.
- Perform or supervise required custodial work.
- Perform or supervise grounds maintenance.
- Maintain operation of heating and air-conditioning systems.
- Move classroom supplies and equipment among facilities as needed.
- Repair tools and equipment.
- Monitor asbestos control program.
- Perform minor remodeling and carpentry repairs.
- Perform job-related tasks as designated by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with persons contacted in the course of work.
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning repair.
- Skill in carpentry.
- Ability to make plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of asbestos control and other hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to supervise a custodian.
- Ability to make decisions independently according to established policies and follow directions.
- Ability to paint, lay flooring, and perform other needed maintenance.
- Physical strength to perform eight hours of manual tasks.
Location: In person at the Medford office, 101 N. Grape Street, Medford, OR 97501
Length of position: 0.40 FTE / 258-day calendar (full-year annual position)
Salary: Per the Classified Collective Bargaining Agreement: $17.45/hr - $20.88/hr starting wage for the school year.
Immediate Supervisor: Chief Financial Officer
