Starting Wage Range: $90,630.26/yr.

Responsible for providing administrative supervision of the Administrative Services Program for the Education Department. Coordinate Education Department-wide initiatives, projects, and services to assist Education Department Programs and the Tribally Operated School in providing high quality, accessible educational opportunities for the Tribal community.
Essential Functions- Responsible for oversight of administrative support services such as food services, literacy support, health and physical education services, curriculum support, library services and social emotional learning supports.
- Responsible for development and management of Administrative Services Program budget including grant management.
- Develops, forecasts, and monitors fiscal controls of program budgets.
- Establishes goals and objectives annually and monitors throughout the year for each of the support services in the Administrative Services Program Responsible for developing Year-end report which includes analyzing and evaluating services provided and program results and providing recommendations for changes in services and operations as needed.
- Designing, implementing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline office workflows, record-keeping, and cross-departmental communication.
- Supervises and administers programs and activities that provide support for programs within the Department and the Tribally operated school providing services to elementary, intermediate, and secondary students to promote student academic progress.
- Coordinates communication between the Department’s Management Team and support providers.
- Collaborate with all Education Department Programs and the Tribally operated school to ensure streamlined service delivery.
- Ensures educational programs and contracts are in compliance with federal, state, private foundation and tribal policies and regulations.
- Works with programs in submitting grant applications for new and continuing programs.
- Manages all grants that support Administrative Services Program including reporting and budget management.
- Ensure programs and contracts are in compliance with federal, state, private foundation and tribal policies and regulations.
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Plans and conducts professional staff development training.
- Conducts regular meetings to communicate and address specific program/staff needs, school district interaction, and student/family’s activities and progress.
- Maintains employee time sheets and leave requests.
- Ensures the hiring, training, promoting, assigning, disciplining and discharging of employees are in accordance with Tribal Law, including without limitation, the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
- Assures staff adherence to all policies and procedures, work, safety and administrative rule, Tribal Law and State Regulations.
- Serves as a mentor, as requested, for Tribal career development.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field of study. Master’s Degree Preferred.
- Requires a minimum of four (4) years’ work experience providing direct support services preferably in an education setting, working with multiple executives and multiple department leaders.
- Requires two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Budget and grant management experience required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Employees may be required to drive for work-related purposes and must maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License (ODL), meet company vehicle insurance requirements, and provide proof of personal vehicle insurance.
- Must have expert knowledge of use of office equipment, computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and training tracking programs.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and business and telephone etiquette.
- Must have excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, including project management
