CLASSIFICATION: Management, Exempt, Regular, Full Time
SECURITY CLEARANCE: CLASS III

INTRODUCTIONReporting to the General Manager, the Slot Manager is responsible for coordinating and exercising functional authority for planning, control, and integration of all gaming and Slots department activities. The Slot Manager is responsible for effectively monitoring the overall performance of electronic gaming devices and video lottery department personnel, ensuring proper staff levels, gaming machine mix, and video promotions that will result in the highest profitability and growth of Kla-Mo-Ya Casino
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe SLOT Manager must maintain the honesty of the Slot machines and instruct Slot staff to protect the integrity of Kla-Mo-Ya Casino.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge and understanding of Internal Controls for the Slot department and Slot hold percentages.
- Knowledge of electronic game devices and progressive systems within a casino.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and convey rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of management concepts, principles, and practices applicable to the full range of duties and activities concerned with management, including personnel, finance, and records management systems.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Individual should be able to express self in a clear and concise manner of the purpose of verbal and written correspondence, reports, instructions, etc.
- Ability to function effectively under pressure of time and/or demands of several tasks at once by effectively planning, and prioritizing workload.
- Knowledge and ability to operate computer and various software programs, including spreadsheet application.
