Position: Program Manager.
Location: Bonneville

  • Manage operations and maintenance programs at the Bonneville Project.
  • Serve as the as the front line supervisor and rating official for environmental compliance, safety, and security.
  • Prepare and justify initial budget estimates for personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies required to carry out a safe and efficient operation and maintenance programs.
  • Monitor progress, measures performance, and take necessary corrective action to maintain agreed-upon schedules and costs.
  • Ensure safety procedures are in place provide a safe environment for employees and visitors.
Duties

Requirements Conditions of employment
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires confidential financial disclosure annually.
  • This position requires:
    1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months;
    2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months; and
    3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • This position requires personal protective equipment provided by the employer.

Qualified applicants

will describe in their resume at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade with planning and assisting with the operation and maintenance activities of a large hydropower project, and assisting with the development and execution of an annual operating budget as well as advising on environmental compliance programs.

Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
