Location: Sherwood

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers as required.
  • Mix and apply industrial coatings, paints, and finishes using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers according to specifications.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain painting and coating equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, thickness, coverage, and overall quality, making corrections as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Load, unload, and move materials or finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Accurately document paint usage, batch numbers, and job details for quality and inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of paint booths, tools, and equipment.
  • Promptly report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as an industrial or manufacturing painter is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial coatings, surface preparation methods, and spray equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, technical specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required.
