Position: Structural Steel CNC Machine Operator
Location: Clackamas, OR 97015
Pay: $23.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time | 40–50 hours/week | Overtime available

WhatYou’ll Do
- Operate CNC Machines
:
Set up and run Angle Master, Plate Burner, and Beamline systems for cutting, drilling, punching, and marking steel. - Handle Materials
:
Use overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload raw and finished materials. - Perform Quality Checks
:
Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to ensure precision and adherence to specifications. - Conduct Maintenance
:
Perform routine maintenance, report equipment issues, and assist in mechanical troubleshooting. - Collaborate with the Team
:
Work alongside foremen, programmers, and other team members to meet production targets and support process improvements.

- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years of CNC machine operation experience in structural steel fabrication
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining parameters
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools
- Familiarity with structural steel grades and machining tolerances
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- English language proficiency
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Clackamas, OR before starting
- Strong commitment to OSHA safety standards and procedures
- Forklift certification and overhead crane operation experience
- Experience with Sigma
NEST or similar CNC programming software - Vocational or technical training in a related field
- 2+ years of structural steel fabrication experience
